Janet R. Heintz joined the law department of The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC (“Inland”) in 1995. She is currently Associate General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Inland. She also holds various officer titles and is a Director or Manager of a number of Inland-affiliated entities. In her capacity as Associate General Counsel, Ms. Heintz counsels Inland entities and sponsored funds on corporate structure, financing, marketing, insurance, human resource matters, intellectual property and other corporate-wide initiatives including being counsel to Inland’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Ms. Heintz is Secretary of and counsel to Inland Green Capital LLC, where she advises on PACE transactions and strategic business partnerships, in addition to having been involved in the authorship of the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Illinois legislation and subsequent amendments. Ms. Heintz is also Secretary and counsel to The Illinois Energy Conservation Authority, NFP, an Illinois tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that develops C-PACE programs in Illinois. Ms. Heintz is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and her law degree from Indiana University School of Law. She began her practice of law with a private law firm in Chicago where she practiced for five years prior to joining Inland.
